Privacy Policy

Dragos-Constantin Cazan, trading as Wealth Fortress (“we”, “us”), of Wealth Fortress, Office 21461, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA, is the data controller for Wealth Fortress. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZC255014.

1. What we collect

Account data: your email address and encrypted password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see your plain-text password). Financial planning data: whatever figures, goals, and rules you choose to enter into MoneyMap and The Planner — this never includes bank logins, since the Service never connects to your bank. Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe; we store only your subscription status, not your card details. Usage analytics: aggregated, anonymised page-visit data collected via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you individually. We also count a small number of anonymous actions in our own database (for example “finished the Golden Percentages questions” or “opened the pricing page”) so we can see which parts of the site are working. These counts store no IP address, no account or email address, and no cookie or other identifier, so they cannot be traced back to you. Free-tool leads: if you use one of our free, no-signup-required tools (Golden Percentages, the Energy Bill Calculator, the Savings Tax Calculator or the Flappy Fortress game) and ask to have your result emailed to you, we store that email address and result in our database so we can send it, and we may email you once more about the free tool you used (for example, pointing a Flappy Fortress player or an Energy Bill Calculator user to the free Golden Percentages tool). If you tick the optional reminder box on the Savings Tax Calculator, we also email you once in March 2027 about the tax year change. We don’t run an ongoing marketing sequence from this — if you’d rather we delete this altogether, email hello@wealthfortress.uk.

2. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

To provide the Service you’ve subscribed to (performance of a contract), to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), and to meet our legal and tax obligations (legal obligation). We do not use your financial planning data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

3. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, within the UK (London / eu-west-2 region), and secured with row-level access controls so only you can read your own records, plus encryption at rest provided by Supabase’s infrastructure.

4. Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the Service: Supabase (hosting and database), Stripe (payment processing), Vercel (application hosting and anonymised analytics), and Resend (sending the transactional and free-tool-result emails above). We do not share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party, and we never sell your data.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. There’s currently no self-serve “delete my account” button in the app, so to close your account and have your data deleted, email hello@wealthfortress.uk from the address on your account — we delete your financial planning data within 30 days of that request. We may retain minimal billing records for longer where required by tax law. A free-tool lead (see section 1) can be deleted the same way at any time, whether or not you ever created an account.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it if inaccurate; request its deletion; export it in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you believe we’ve mishandled your data. 7. Cookies

We use only the strictly necessary cookies required to keep you securely logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Affiliate & referral links

Our Deals page contains affiliate and referral links to third-party products we use ourselves. If you follow one of these links and sign up, the provider may pay us a reward — this never costs you anything extra. Clicking through takes you to that provider’s own website, which is outside our control and governed by its own privacy and cookie policy, not ours; we don’t receive any personal data about you from these providers unless you choose to share it with them directly.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We’ll update the “last updated” date above whenever this policy changes, and post the new version here.
