Privacy Policy

Dragos-Constantin Cazan, trading as Wealth Fortress (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for Wealth Fortress. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number [YOUR ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER].

1. What we collect

Account data: your email address and encrypted password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see your plain-text password). Financial planning data: whatever figures, goals, and rules you choose to enter into MoneyMap and The Planner — this never includes bank logins, since the Service never connects to your bank. Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe; we store only your subscription status, not your card details.

2. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

To provide the Service you’ve subscribed to (performance of a contract), to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), and to meet our legal and tax obligations (legal obligation). We do not use your financial planning data for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

3. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, within the UK (London / eu-west-2 region), and secured with row-level access controls so only you can read your own records, plus encryption at rest provided by Supabase’s infrastructure.

4. Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to run the Service: Supabase (hosting and database), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (application hosting). We do not share your data with data brokers, advertisers, or any other third party, and we never sell your data.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your financial planning data within 30 days. We may retain minimal billing records for longer where required by tax law.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it if inaccurate; request its deletion; export it in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you believe we’ve mishandled your data. To exercise any of these, contact support@wealthfortress.app.

7. Cookies

We use only the strictly necessary cookies required to keep you securely logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We’ll update the “last updated” date above whenever this policy changes, and post the new version here.
